Tan Uyen district’s Steering Board for the Youth Month has just issued an action plan for the 2014 Youth Month.

Accordingly, along with speeding up dissemination of information about the significance of great holidays, awareness of national construction and defence among youth…, the district’s Steering Board for the Youth Month will focus on implementing the contents and targets of the Resolutions of the 10th National Youth Union Congress, the 9th provincial Youth Union Congress, the 10th Tan Uyen Youth Union Congress for the 2012 and 2017 tenure; attach special importance to vocational training, job creation, capital support, sci-tech transfer for the local youth…

During the Youth Month, the district will also organize many activities upholding the volunteer role of the local youth, including “Volunteer Saturday”, “Green Sunday”, “Youth taking part in new rural construction”, “Youth with traffic culture”; provide free medical check-up and medicine for policy beneficiaries and poor people; build and donate benevolence houses to Youth Union members in need of housing.
