Tan Uyen town’s socio-economic development in 1st quarter gains stable results

On March 19, Tan Uyen town held the 7^th session to ratify reports on socio-economy, national defense and security of the first quarter of 2015 and set out some key tasks of the second quarter.

In the first quarter, Tan Uyen town People’s Committee focused on steering effective implementation of fields, winning remarkable results. Accordingly, the province reached VND1,733.8bil in industrial production value, a 10.24% increase compared with the same period last year, VND1,408.4bil in total goods retails and service turnover, a 19.12% rise; hastened progress of key works as well as maintained stability of production environment.

Besides, work on taking care of privileged people were strengthened and implemented well. Especially, in the past Tet holiday 2015, Tan Uyen town granted more than VND8bil in Tet gifts to privileged families. Also the 1^st quarter, the locality presented one gratitude house and 3 hi-unity houses to poor privileged people.

In the second quarter of this year, the town administration will continue to spur economic growth and prevent loss of budget, seriously solve violations of production, transport and trade of faked and poor quality commodities and so on.
