Ten Natural Resources and Environment outstanding events in 2015 to be announced

Pham Danh, Director of provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, has signed Decision No. 233 on the publication of 10 outstanding events of Binh Duong provincial Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) sector in 2015.

Accordingly, in 2015, provincial NRE sector consolidated its organization apparatus according to Joint Circular No. 50 of Ministry of NRE and Ministry of Home Affairs, especially the establishment of Land Registration Office and single-stage Land Resource Development Centre; completed the announcement of NRE Department’s administrative procedures and legal documents guiding the implementation of laws, decrees and circulars in the field of land.

In parallel, the sector completed the tasks of President of Dong Nai River’s Basin Protection Committee and Leader of the 7^th NRE Emulation Cluster; organized preliminary summarizing conference of administrative reform, anti-corruption, and anti-waste thrift practicing tasks in the 2011- 2015 period; summarized 5 implementation years of the environmental protection plan in 2011-2015; set up the 2016-2020 environmental protection plan. In addition, checked, took over wastewater automatic monitoring system - Phase 2; summarized 5 implementation years of joint programs with the Association of unions in 2011-2015, signed the 2^nd joint program in the 2016-2020; sports game celebrating the 70^th Vietnam Land Management’s traditional day; applied information technology in providing online documents, completed the land inventory in 2014.

NRE Department’s leadership said, among the 10 events, the establishment of Land Registration Office and Land Resource Development Centre has made a reform step to unify organizational apparatus, functions, duties and powers from the province to districts, towns and cities. Thereby, land and assets attached to land registration procedures are simplified and unified under the OSS mechanism, creating favorable conditions for organizations and citizens to fulfill land administrative procedures; cadastral records and database are regularly, fully, timely, uniformly updated between the three levels of province, district and commune, meet management requirements land use needs to serve socio-economic development.

At the same time, secured resources for the creation, development, management and exploitation of the land resource; carryied out compensation, support and resettlement during land recovery; received land use right transfers of organizations, households and individuals; auctioned land use rights and performed other services in the field of land. On the other hand, performed land inventory works, mapped current uses of lands in 2014 to evaluate correctly the actual land use situation and fluctuations in land uses, forming a basis for building and finishing land laws, devising land use planning at all levels ... to meet the land use needs of economic, cultural – social and defense – security sector in the province in particular and the country in general.
