May 9, provincial leaders (Chairman Le Thanh Cung and his deputy Tran Thanh Liem) and representatives from sectors and agencies attended inaugurating ceremony of Thanh Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company in Thanh Phuoc Commune, Tan Uyen District to put Thanh Phuoc Port into first stage operation. Provincial leader and investing constractor cut the ribbon to inaugurate the first stage ò Thanh Phuoc Port As reported by the Company, the first stage project has cost up to VND 780 million to build up 8 piers, leading roads in an area of 25 ha, servicing 2.5 tons of goods a year.It is expected that the second stage of construction from 2014 to 2018 will be of 8 piers with waste water treatment system and ancillary constructions in a area of 28 ha at the cost of VND 610 billion.On behalf of provincial leaders, Deputy Chairman of People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem highly appreciated the role of Thanh Phuoc Port to socio-economic development in Binh Duong for the time to come.
