The conference listened to Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, reporting on the situation of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the first nine months of 2019. Accordingly, production index industry is estimated to increase by 9.12% over the same period; total retail sales of goods and services were estimated at VND 167,650 billion, up 17.3% over the same period in 2018; export turnover was estimated at 19 billion 767 million USD, up 13.2% over the same period, maintaining a trade surplus of 5.1 billion USD. Regarding foreign investment, the province attracted 2 billion USD 463 million, up 76% over the same period, exceeding 76% of the plan. Up to now, the whole province has nearly 3,783 FDI projects, with a total registered capital of 34.77 billion US dollars. Domestic investment has attracted VND 47,529 billion of registered capital, an increase of 7.9% over the same period. Up to now, the whole province has nearly 41,190 domestic enterprises, with a total registered capital of over 384,507 billion dong. Total social development investment reached 72 thousand 714 billion dong, up nearly 12% over the same period. Social security continued to be concerned about implementation. The field of education - training and health has made positive changes; security and defense continue to be maintained.

The central task of the province in the last months of the year is to focus on solutions to achieve and exceed the targets and missions in 2019; organizing dialogues and meeting foreign enterprises; disease prevention on plants and animals; ensure completion of assigned budget plan; focus on organizational structure, staff downsizing, building job placement; timely implementation of social security policies; organizing the Asian Economic Cooperation Forum 2019 and implementing the World Urban Center investment project.

The conference also announced Decisions on cadre work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC Corporation retires according to the regime; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, Commander of the Provincial Military Command were approved by the Party Central Committee to join the Provincial Standing Committee for the 2015-2020 term. .
