The work of grasping public opinion is well implemented

On June 18, Provincial Party Committee of Propagation and Education held a meeting for collaborators of public opinion in the first 6 months of 2019. Le Huu Phuoc, Provincial Party Standing Committee member, Head of Party Committee of Propagation and Education, chaired the meeting.

In the first 6 months of 2019, public opinion in the province continued to received attention to international issues and events, such as the second US-North Korea Summit in Vietnam; political crisis in Venezuela; yellow-shirt demonstration in France; trade war between the US and China; political fluctuations about Brexit issues in Europe... Regarding domestic issues, public opinion was interested in events: the 10^th session of Central Party Committee; 7th session of National Assembly; external activities of Party and Government leaders; Vietnam officially became a non-permanent member of UNSC 2020-2021; violations of leading officials from the central to local levels; the Central’s resolutions on Party building, political system; social issues, security and order, human and animal diseases ... Public opinion in the province also concerned about socio-economic development, security and order.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phuoc said that the work of grasping public opinion had been carried out orderly, quickly, promptly, honestly, fully, qualitatively and effectively; thereby helping local committees, units re-assessed as well as re-planned for appropriate policies. In order to improve this work, in the coming time, district-level Propagation and Education agencies need to review and strengthen the team of collaborators; set up specific work plans and programs; at the same time, organize professional trainings and innovate ways to grasp public opinion for collaborators.
