Early March 10, TDM city’s Youth Union held a ceremony to launch the Youth Month 2014.

2014 is the 12th year TDM city’s Youth Union has launched the Youth Month 2014 with the theme of “Youth actively taking part in the construction of urban civilization and the motto of “Each Youth Union member does a practical deed, each Youth Union does a practical work to contribute to building urban civilization”.

Accordingly, the city’s Youth Unions at all levels will effectively implement youth works in association with educating the local youth about the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party, the nation and the Youth Union on the occasion of the 83rd anniversary of the Youth Union (March 26, 1931-March 26, 2014); boost a task of gathering and uniting the local youth, upholding their volunteer spirit in the process of building and developing TDM into a civilized and modern city.

After the launching ceremony, the local Youth Union members got involved in eradicating illegal advertising boards on 30/4 street; collected water hyacinth to clear Thu Ngu canal at the section of quarters 6, 7 in Chanh Nghia ward.
