Thien Nam JSC , 11-year development

Thien Nam Investment and Development Joint Stock Co. (or called Thien Nam JSC) has made more efforts in building up a strategy for sustainable development and gradually affirmed its trademark in the domestic fiber sector. This has contributed to enhancing the localization ratio of the garment and textile sector and creating a Vietnamese trademark in the sector at home and abroad.

 Success thanks to quality

 Following the success of the first Thien Nam fiber plant, Thien Nam JSC bravely expanded its production by building additional two plants at the Binh An garment and textile industrial park in Di An town in 2006 and 2008 with the total capacity of 12,600 tons of fiber per year and 78,000 spindles.

 Thien Nam JSC lately also opened the fourth Duy Nam fiber plant at the Binh An Garment & Textile Industrial Park. Covering 2.1 hectares, this fiber plant with 400 workers has a total investment capital of VND380bln (equivalent to US$19mln) and is able to produce 500 tons of fiber per month with 40,000 spindles.

 The birth of the fourth Duy Nam fiber plant has contributed to bringing Thien Nam JSC’s total number of fiber plants to 4 with nearly 150,000 spindles.

 Tran Dang Tuong, CEO of Thien Nam JSC said that Thien Nam JSC’s four fiber plants can now generate around 25,000 tons of various fiber products annually, 80% of which are for export; reach a total annual revenue of around VND1.5trillion and generate stable jobs for 1,600 laborers with the average income of VND3.7mln per capita per month…

 Trademark affirmed

 Thien Nam JSC has become a prestigious trademark in the fiber sector of Vietnam after 11 years of development.

 Mr.Tuong said that Thien Nam JSC has constantly improved management methods, upheld the strength of state-of-the-art technologies and built up high-quality manpower towards sustainable development. Thien Nam JSC also has high hopes for building up a Vietnamese fiber trademark in the region and world.

 Thien Nam JSC’s products has also been exported to such famous markets as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Turkey, Brazil, Taiwan…with the high trust on quality.

 According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa, Thien Nam JSC’s investment into the fiber sector has contributed to improving the competitive ability of Vietnamese fiber products at home and abroad.

 She also emphasized that the company’s 11-year development with 4 fiber plants is of great significant for the garment and textile sector, one of Vietnam’s key export sectors, contributing to raising the localization ratio of the sector to 60% in accordance with the orientation set out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

 During its development process, Thien Nam SJC has always seen manpower as a driving for growth. Hence, the company has paid more attention to laborers’ lives with social welfare policies ensured. Noticeably, it has so far spent VND100bln on building tenement houses with the average area of 10sq.m per person…
