Three gratitude houses donated to policy beneficiary families

*“Red cross” house handed over to the poor

To mark the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2016), Thuan An town and Kumho Vietnam Co.Ltd., on June 2, co-held a ceremony to donate three gratitude houses to three policy beneficiary families in need of housing in An Thanh, An Phu wards and An Son commune.

The first house of 100 square meters with a total construction cost of VND150mln was given for the family of Tran Van Thao residing in An Thanh ward’s Thanh Loi quarter. The second and third houses of 40 and 44 square meters worth VND90mln and VND80mlm were presented to the families of Pham Minh Duc and Do Quoc Dung residing in An Son commune’s An Phu hamlet and An Phu ward, respectively.

Through provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the company supported VND260mln for the construction of the three houses. The remaining cost came from the families. On this occasion, the local sectors, mass organizations also gave essential gifts for the families.

*Early June 2, provincial Red Cross Society handed over a “red cross” house to the family of Nguyen Van Quy residing Bau Bang district’s Lai Hung commune.

The 32sq.m house is built with a total cost of VND44.5mln, funded by the family of Nguyen Thi Hung in TDM city’s Tuong Binh Hiep ward.
