Thuan An city Trade Union coordinates to care for working people

In 2021, the Trade Union of Thuan An city has coordinated with the functional sector to check businesses with signs of salary debt and social insurance debt to promptly work with business directors and take measures of handling to avoid workers’ strikes. In addition, the Trade Union, the grassroots Trade Union and provincial agencies and departments have supervised 10 units in the area on salary policy and internal rules according to the 2019 Labor Code.

During the year, Thuan An city Trade Union also coordinated to mediate 58 applications, resulting in 49 successful applications, and 9 failed applications. The advisory team received and gave legal advice to 128 cases in person and 2,891 cases by phone. The main content was about policies, benefits, social insurance, trade union activities and support programs due to the impact of COVID-19, and other policies related to employees.
