Tour prices increase by 10%-30%

 

Although there are still ten days left until the April 30, May 1 holiday, tours on the holiday are almost booked.

Since March, travel companies have made plans for tours on the April 30 and May 1 holiday. Dat Thu Travel-Entertainment-Sports Co. has so far lured more than 2,100 bookings, up over 32% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Ninh Chu, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Mui Ne…priced at VND1mln and above person are favorite destinations of tourists. Tours to Ha Noi-the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long in combination with other tourist sites in the northern region are priced at VND4mln-VND5mln per person.

Outbound tours to Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, China, Hong Kong…, expect Thailand still lures more visitors with the package price between VND4.8mln and VND12mln per person. Many tours to the Hung Kings Temple in combination with other many tourist sites in the northern region like Ha Long Bay, Ha Noi with 36 streets and districts…are also very attractive.

Due to the prices of services on rise, the prices of tours on the holidays have increased by 10%-30% compared to normal days.

 

Number of tourists up, but ensuring supply

 

Travel companies said that the number of tourists frequently sees sharp increase on the above holidays. And they are ready to supply tourist services at tourists’ demand.

According to Nguyen Viet Hung, director of Dat Thu Travel-Entertainment-Sports Co., the biggest difference of this year’s tourism market is that tourists pay more attention to domestic tours. Tours to Sapa, Ha Noi, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Can Tho…on the April 30 and May 1 holiday were fully booked one week ago. To absorb more tourists, Dat Thu has also launched new tours, including a four-day tour of Cambodia-Laos-Thailand with preferential price at only VND3,990mln per person…

This year, tourist market has become very animated as travel companies have launched lots of new tours with reasonable prices.
