Tree planting festival in “forever gratitude to Uncle Ho” launched

Early May 19, provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to launch a  tree planting festival in "forever  gratitude to Uncle Ho" at the 1,500-bed General Hospital  in Thu Dau Mot city on the occasion of the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

The event was attended by  Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and members of provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of departments and agencies in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Dung emphasized that planting and taking care of trees, building up green - clean - beautiful schools is not only done during the period to launching the festival, but is a regular task of everyone, every house, each agency and unit, for the quality of people’s life, “For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees, for the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people".

After the ceremony, delegates participated in planting trees at the campus of the 1,500-bed General Hospital.
