Urban beautification to welcome New Year

Recently, New Year welcoming is in the air across the streets. Urban beautification has especially been taken care of by sectors and agencies to bring up tidy and beautiful streets to welcome New Year 2015 – Year of the Goat.

The internal streets of Thu Dau Mot City have been coated new appearance with flags flying high at the most solemn places. Illegal ads and banners have been removed while degraded licensed posters have been replaced in a bid to beautify the streets.

Local people of Thu Dau Mot City are welcoming the new stage of a city as the Prime Minister has approved Thu Dau Mot City to be an urban area of rate II in a province.

Meantime, street cleaning up and green tree caring have been carried out under plans. Mrs. Tran Thi Gai, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Urban Construction One-member Co. Ltd. infomed of plans dispatched for clean and beautiful streets welcoming the New Year. The Company has mobilized its best forces to clean up major streets of Thu Dau Mot City. Besides, the Company has planned to remove rubbish sites and rennovate green trees and light posts, etc. Mrs. Mai Thi Cam Nhung at Group 7 of Phu Hoa Ward in Thu Dau Mot City shared her jubilant feelings when walking out these days.

As for electricity supply during New Year, Thu Dau Mot City Power Company has planned to ensure safe, continuous and quality supply to the whole city by 24/7 monitoring staffs during the holidays.
