Vietnam helps LPRP cadres improve professional skills

In his speech at the opening ceremony, HCMA Director Professor Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, said that during the course, the trainees will study Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, and the guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam so they will be able to adapt and apply them in Laos. The course will help build acontingent Lao cadres qualified in foreign affairs and capable of meeting the requirements for national industrialization and modernization in Laos towards becoming a prosperous and powerful nation.

Over the period of the course, the Lao cadres will receive updated knowledge and experiences in foreign affairs work to raise the quality and efficiency of their political tasks and political system at all levels.

They will research some special subjects and make fact-finding tours to several Vietnamese localities.

On the occasion, the Lao deputy ambassador in Vietnam thanked the Party, State and people of Vietnam for helping Laos train its personnel and praised Vietnam’s effective cooperation in this field over the past few years.

The course is organized for practical significance and for fostering the long-standing Vietnam-Laos friendship, especially as the two countries will celebrate the year of Vietnam-Laos friendship and Laos will host the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) in 2012.
