Wheelchairs donated to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims

Pham Ngoc Thai, Chairman of provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin yesterday led a delegation to visit and present gifts to the families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims in Di An and Thuan An towns on the 56th anniversary of Vietnam’s Day for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims.

Particularly, the delegation offered 35 gifts worth between VND500,000 and VND1million each to the families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and 3 wheelchairs to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims, namely Vu Duy Huong, Le Trong Tien (photo) and Nguyen Thi Hang in Di An town’s Binh Hoa ward and Di An town’s Di An and Tan Binh wards.

*The same day, Dau Tieng district’s Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin held a get-together on the 56th anniversary of Vietnam’s Day for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims.

On this occasion, leaders of the district gave 100 gifts for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims with a total cost of VND50million, funded by the local organizations and units. Although having small value, these gifts were of great significance for the families of Agent Orange/Dioxin victims, encouraging them to surmount difficulties and rise in life while calling for all people to join hands for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims…
