On February 16, municipalities in the province held military handover ceremonies in 2022. In the new spring atmosphere, more than 1,700 Binh Duong young citizens, who were recruited for military service and public security service, eagerly set off to perform sacred duties to the Fatherland.

Ben Cat Town: Formal and safe
The military handover ceremony 2022 of Ben Cat Town was held at the Iron Triangle Tunnels Historical Site (An Tay Commune). Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
In 2022, Ben Cat town has 177 citizens enlisted in the army, of which 145 citizens will perform military service at the 5th Division, 429th Brigade and the Provincial Military Command; 32 citizens will perform public security service at the Provincial Police. Right from the early morning, families of the recruits came to see their sons off. The security and order work at the ceremony was guaranteed.
As a young party member, newly recruited citizen Kim Nhat Anh (My Phuoc ward) was very proud and nervous when he was present at the military handover ceremony. After completing a study program at Thu Dau Mot University, Kim Nhat Anh studied and earned a few more certificates, became a chemical engineer with a very stable income. However, Nhat Anh temporarily put aside his private life and wrote a volunteer application for the armed forces. Nhat Anh said: "My mother has passed away suddenly, the day I start out military service is the 100th day since her passing. At this time, although it is a bit sad, but as a young man, I feel that I have a responsibility to build and protect the Fatherland, hence I am very proud when I am accepted. This was also my mother's wish before she died. I will try my best to study and train myself to become more mature.”

Di An City: To guarantee 100% of the troop delivery target
Attending the troop delivery ceremony at Ho Lang historic site (Tan Binh ward, Di An City) were Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the provincial Military Command, mass organizations, and 400 people.
From early in the morning, all over Di An City streets, the atmosphere of the enlistment day was bustling and buoyant, many fresh flower bouquets were sent to new recruits. Rookie Thieu Hoang Phuc said: “I am very honored to be recuirted for military service this time. This morning is a meaningful day in my life and for me to continue to strive and promote the tradition of the heroic Di An homeland, follow footsteps of previous generations”. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Phi Hung, Military Commander of Di An City, said that Di An City had done a good job of recruitment as well as rear work. Specifically, before 215 young soldiers left for performing their duty, Di An city organized visits, encouraged and gave gifts to them. In the 2022 armed force's recruitment, Di An city also met 100% of the target.

Thu Dau Mot City: 280 young citizens eagerly hit the road
At the City Sports and Culture Center, Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot City held a solemn ceremony to receive and see off 280 outstanding young citizens, representing the young generation of the city to continue upholding the heroic homeland's tradition of defending the Fatherland. The ceremony had the participation of Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Civil Service Council.
This year, due to the complicated development of coronavirus, the ceremony of delivery and receiving of troops was tightened, the number of attendees was less and the program was also brief, but still ensured the solemnity and encouragement to young people to hit the road and protect the Fatherland. In this year's military delivery, Thu Dau Mot City had 280 young recruits, including 4 party members; 81 people have junior college, college and bachelor degrees.
To ensure the Covid-19 prevention and control, 98.6% of new recruits were vaccinated with the third dose. The recruits will be assigned to the Navy Region 4, the 77th Air Defense Brigade, the 429th Special Forces Brigade, the 6th Regiment and the Provincial Police. Thuan An City: Rookies feel assured to serve in the army
At the historical relic Thuan An Hoa War Zone, Thuan An City held a ceremony to receive new troops in 2022. Attending the ceremony were Pham Van Chanh, Permanent Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of Thuan An city.
The handover ceremony in Thuan An city took place solemnly and seriously. Measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 at the ceremony were strictly implemented.
In 2022, Thuan An city assigned 200 young men to 3 military units, including 4 party members. The educational level and health condition of these new soldiers met standards. Nguyen Thi Hien, Vice Chairman of Thuan An City People's Committee, said that the Party Committee, government and local people expect the selected young citizens to actively train, study well, and be disciplined to become elite soldiers, "Uncle Ho's soldiers". The Party committee and government will make regular visits and do well the army rear policy so that the recruits could feel assured to serve in the army.

Bau Bang District: The handover ensures good quality
This year, Bau Bang district has 174 new young citizens enlisted to perform military service and police service at units, including: Provincial Military Command, 429 Commandos Brigade, 271st Regiment, 5th Infantry Division, 957th Brigade, 4th Naval Region , Ministry of Public Security and Provincial Public Security. Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, attended the ceremony.
Young enlisted men this year in the district met all three criteria: health, cultural level, and political quality; including 3 party members. New recruit Duong Quoc Vu (Lai Hung commune) said he was very honored and proud as setting out to join the army. "I will constantly train and cultivate myself to fulfill assigned tasks," Duong Quoc Vu said.

Dau Tieng District: Proud to be a soldier
In the excitement of the military enlistment day 2022, 210 outstanding young men of the heroic homeland Dau Tieng joined armed force to perform the sacred duty of building and defending the Fatherland. Attending the handover ceremony were Nguyen Minh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; leaders of the Provincial Military Command, leaders of Dau Tieng district, leaders of departments, branches and unions of the district and new recruits' parents and loved ones, youth union members.
Although the ceremony was brief, the participants felt the solemn and meaningful atmosphere. In particular, the new recruits on the first day were able to put on armed force's uniform, were still a little surprised, but everyone looked fired up and radiant when they became Uncle Ho's soldiers. New soldier Nguyen Quoc Thuan (Dau Tieng town) said emotionally that he was very proud to be a soldier and would strive to train, study well, work hard, overcome difficulties, be ready to take and complete all assigned tasks.

North Tan Uyen District: To follow the heroic tradition
The 2022 military handover ceremony in North Tan Uyen District had the participation of Vo Van Ba, Head of the Provincial Party Internal Affairs Committee. In 2022, the district had 117 young people enlisted, of which 90 young soldiers perform military service, 27 young soldiers perform police service. To inherit the heroic tradition from previous generations, many young men volunteered to join the army.
Nguyen Quoc Huy (Tan My commune), has graduated from college, and wrote a volunteer application to enlist in the army in 2022. Huy said: “I decided to join the army to train myself, was agreed and supported by my parents. When I join my military unit, I will try my best to successfully complete all tasks, constantly train myself, strive and grow up in the military environment to continue upholding good traditions of my homeland, become a good citizen, pioneering and exemplary soldier".
At the ceremony, after being encouraged and receiving flowers from the provincial and district leaders, the young persons said goodbye to their families and friends, and set out to their new units, including: Provincial Department of Public Security, 429th Special Forces Brigade, the 550th Engineer Brigade (4th Army Corps), 5th Infantry Division (Military Zone 7) and the Provincial Police.

Tan Uyen Town: To build and protect the Fatherland

In the 2022 military delivery ceremony, Tan Uyen Town had 192 young citizens joining the army and public security, reaching 100% of the target of military recruitment. At the end of the ceremony, leaders of the province and Tan Uyen Town gave flowers and encouraged the new recruits to strive hard during their work at new units to successfully complete assigned tasks.

In a solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, each young enlisted name called was the pride of family, friends as well as of the entire people of Phu Giao district. The atmosphere was even spirited with footsteps of the young men coming to new units, words of advice, and emotional states of their loved ones...
Pham Quang Thai, family of new recruit Pham Quang Ngoc (An Linh commune), said: "This year, although the Covid-19 is still complicated, Party committees and administration levels from the commune to the district level pay attention to the organization of a solemn and heart-warming handover ceremony. Families are welcome to say goodbye and encourage young men before they set off. It was a great happiness for families as well as enlisted young men. Last night, my whole family couldn't sleep, just waited for the morning to come to meet and give him some advices. This is the first time he is away from family and lives in a military environment, so I also told him what I know so that he could soon integrate into the new environment, train hard and become more mature."
