On February 15, the 2022 enlistment day was held in 9 districts, towns and cities in the province. Branches of District, Town and City Youth Unions advised and collaborated with other sectors to organize the event with cultural activities to educate traditional patriotism, arouse youth's sense of responsibility, motivate young citizens to perform military service.
To hail soldiers
With the theme "When the Fatherland calls - Youth are ready", the 2022 enlistment day in North Tan Uyen district was held at War Zone D Memorial Area in Dat Cuoc commune. Accordingly, sub-camps of 10 communes and townships were named after martyrs and heroes of the province, districts, communes and townships. On the other hand, the sub-camps had appropriate logos, gate designs, and propaganda banners, showing glorious images of soldiers to motivate the youth.

According to Do Ngoc Loi, Secretary of North Tan Uyen District Youth Union, the District Youth Union advised and implemented the enlistment day plan with the aim of motivating young people to follow the tradition and enthusiastically enlist in the armed forces. At the day, enlisted young men met demobilized soldiers, long-term volunteer officers, and elite soldiers to heighten the spirit of youth to perform their duties, and complete missions in a military environment. In addition, a documentary film about the Vietnamese people's army was shown to arouse the continuation of the previous generation's heroic revolutionary tradition; commend young party members, who volunteered to register for long-term service in the army, and model families in encouraging young people to join the army.
The enlistment camp of Di An city themed "Aspiration to contribute to the Di An construction" was held at the Ho Lang revolutionary base relic and eco-tourism site (Tan Binh ward).
To continue to do well the rear work through movements of "For the sake of men who enlist in the army", "For soldiers on islands and borders" and to actively participate in building the national defense, enlistment day 2022 of Tan Uyen Town consisted of a ceremony to welcome new young enlisted men. In order to encourage the spirit of the young people, Tan Uyen Town Youth Union commended young men who volunteer for military service in a program named "Tan Uyen youth promotes tradition, dedicates talents, ready to defend the Fatherland". To stimulate young men before they go to the army, Organizing Committee of the Phu Giao District enlistment camp also commended and rewarded 25 exemplary young men who enlisted in 2022.
To take care of enlisted young people
In addition to the purpose of educating, reminding about the heroic and glorious traditions of our army and people, arousing the national pride and responsibility of the youth for the cause of national construction and defense, the enlistment camp also had activities to take care of young people both mentally and physically. The enlistment camp of Di An city themed "Aspiration to contribute to the Di An construction" was held at the Ho Lang revolutionary base relic and eco-tourism site (Tan Binh ward).
A small camp of Tan Dinh ward (Ben Cat town) has the theme of unchangeable faith in the Party.
The theme of the camp was developed by Organizing Committee to show the care of leaders, authorities and people for the youth who wear the shirts of Uncle Ho's soldiers. At the day, young men who were recruited for military service of seven wards of Di An city were welcomed by leaders at sub-camps. Lam Hoang Thuy Trang, Secretary of Di An City Youth Union, said: "At the enlistment camp, the City Youth Union coordinated with organizing committee of the camp to organize meeting with demobilized youths and screen documentary films about the Vietnamese people's army traditions so that young people would be more proud of being a soldier of the Vietnamese people's army. There were also activities to take care of enlisted young citizens, such as the lucky draw, giving gifts to poor families of men who were selected for military service”.
In order to show the concern of Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations for recruited young persons, Dau Tieng District Enlistment Camp Organizing Committee arranged joyful activities, creating a chance for youth union members to meet and eager to go on military service. The recruits took part in a karaoke singing contest to praise the homeland, the Communist Party of Vietnam, Uncle Ho, and met model young party members who volunteered to join the armed forces.
The organizers of the day also offered savings books to the young recruits who have difficult family circumstances. Thereby, showing the concern of the Party Committee, authorities and people of Dau Tieng district to the young people who perform the military service, contributing to completing the target of military service in 2022.
