Workers ‘offspring with difficult circumstances supported

On August 30, provincial Labor Union in collaboration with the Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper's Golden Heart Fund awarded “Giving strength to school” scholarships to workers ‘offspring with difficult circumstances or having fathers, mothers died of Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, 120 scholarships worth VND 1 million each, sponsored by Military-run telecommunications company Viettel Group, mid-Autumn gifts, 10 notebooks from provincial Labor Union and units were awarded to students who are the offspring of workers with difficult circumstances.

Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice-President of provincial Labor Union said that mobilizing resources to take care of the offspring of trade unionists and employees, especially those with extremely difficult circumstances, affected by Covid-19 pandemic was one of activities prioritized by trade unions at all levels in the province.
