Dang Tran Trung Hau, Vice-Secretary of Thuan An town’s Youth Union said that the local youngsters have got involved in four main programs during the 2013 summer youth volunteer campaign, including  “urban civilization”, “new rural construction”, “Green environment” and  “Giving strength to exam season”. Particularly, they have taken part in building the new rural region of An Son commune, ensuring traffic safety, protecting the environment, getting involved in activities of “paying debt of gratitude”, taking care of teenagers and children and voluntarily donating blood.

With the theme of “Thuan An’s youth join in the construction of new rural areas and urban civilization”, the 2013 summer youth volunteer campaign in Thuan An town has focused on many new and effective models with the motto of “Each youth does a volunteer deed”; each Youth Union does a practical deed for socio-economic development”. This has contributed to upholding the volunteer spirit of the local youth for the sake of the community, for a prosperous and beautiful Thuan An.

Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of Thuan An town said that the local youth has over time upheld their volunteer spirit in each action and made efforts to excellently fulfill the 2013 summer youth volunteer campaign. During the campaign, they have attached special importance to the propaganda work in order to raise public awareness of environmental protection and urban civilization; further maintained the “Voluntary Saturday”, “Green Sunday” programs for the sake of the community…
