Youth Union’s operational content and form improved

In the current context, activities of the Youth Union need to be improved in both form and content at Youth Union members’ demand. That’s reason why provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has put forward many solutions to strengthen the effectiveness of gathering, uniting and taking care of the local youths.

Binh Duong now has more than 1 million youths or more than 50% of the local total population. Among them, there are more than 89,000 Youth Union members, more than 146,000 Youth Federation members and more than 19,000 Student Association members.

For operational content and form improved, provincial Youth Union has concretized contents on realization of the Party Committee’s Conclusion No.81-KL/TU on “Real situation and solutions to improve the operational content and form of socio-political organizations in the new context” with major solutions, including raising Youth Union officials’ awareness on the importance of improving the operational content and form of Youth Unions at all levels in the new context; improving the operational content and form of Youth Union and Young Pioneer organization to increase the effectiveness of gathering, uniting youths and taking care of them; strengthen the organization of the Youth Union; increasing the quality of Youth Union officials; coordinating with authorities and mass organizations at all levels to carry out provincial program on youth development for the period of 2011-2020…

Over the past time, provincial Youth Unions at all levels concentrated on researching, seeking, creating solutions, models and ways in order to perfect their activities. Some activities and movements, namely “Volunteering in national defense and construction”, “Accompanying youths in establishing their position in life, themselves in business”…, absorbed a large number of Youth Union members.

According to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will well realize a task of being proactive to recheck and assess their quality of campaigns and programs; care and protect Youth Union members’ legitimate rights and interests; diversify forms on gathering and uniting Youth Union members; uphold the great strength of youths in national defense and construction, contributing to successfully realizing the local cause of industrialization and modernization and building the locality into a first-class city with the goal of improving locals’ material and spiritual lives towards a civilized, prosperous and beautiful city.

In addition, provincial Youth Union will strengthen and improve the quality and effectiveness of the apparatus of its branches; enhance coordination with relevant units in carrying out entrusted tasks at the requirement of operational improvement in the new context. Improving the operational content and form of provincial Youth Unions at all levels must be implemented practically and economically with the effectiveness of the Conclusion No.81-KL/TU ensured. All will be solutions to increase the effectiveness of gathering, uniting, caring, protecting and educating youths in the coming time.
