Youths’ Festival 2015 colorfully organized

Yesterday of March 22, Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League and Thuan An Town Youth’s League have joined up to organize Youths’ Festival 2015 which would be colorfully animated by volunteer activities and various meaningful program to bring up a true festival.

The complex and small road leading to Tam Trich spring is the place for Green Sunday movement with construction for the homeland river co-held by An Son Commune Youth’s League in Thuan An Town, Phu Cuong Ward Youth’s League in Thu Dau Mot City, Thu Dau Mot University students, and soldiers of Battalion No. 16 of Anti-aircraft Regiment No. 71 under Army Corps. No. 4. Mr. Vo Tien, Secretary of An Son Commune Youth’s League said: “Implementing the nationally pivotal program of constructing new rural area, for the past time, we have contributed to local authorities’ and people’s efforts. Of the movement, we frequently join up the works of dredging the flows. Now that, by our joint efforts, we shall work on Tam Trich spring to help the water flow.”

Very early in the morning, members of the joint agencies were present to carry out their assignments. They were not afraid of entering the deepest places of the spring to remove weeds. Their hours of hard working were fruitful as the cannel was cleaner and more beautiful.

Along with the Green Sunday movement, at Lai Thieu Ward Clinic of Thuan An Town, the young nurses and doctors and the Club of young physicians of Thuan An Town organized free health-care services and medicines to 150 elders and people of difficult circumstances in Lai Thieu Ward.

Learning and playing

The Youths’ Festival 2015 is diversified with volunteer activities and other meaningful programs, bringing up genuine festive days. At Hung Dinh Ward of Thuan An Town, local Association of Women introduced its sub-organization of Nhiet huyet (enthusiasm) for local religious youths to gather. Mr. Nguyen Anh Hoang, head of the sub-organization, said: “We have 30 members who meet once every month. Beforehand, we shall engage in information dissemination about the major anniversaries of the nation, the laws, and domestic and international incidents. Then, we should be entertaining with shows, trips, and charity drives.”

Along with the mentioned activities, at Thuan An Town Center for Political Education, over 200 youths joined a forum of youths in constructing civilized urban areas under the topic of public behavior where they were instructed with lectures on nowadays behavior of the youths, particularly in public places.

To train up by President Ho Chi Minh’s great examples, the sport event also attracted majority of the youths. Besides, the festival also included painting contests, culinary stalls, music shows, art streets, unicorn-lion-dragon dances, children music, and technology stalls.
