100 scholarships awarded poor-but-excellent pupils in Phu Giao

Early September 17, Phu Giao district’s Study Promoting Association held a ceremony to award 100 scholarships worth VND1million each, funded by Binh Duong Mineral and Construction Joint Stock Company, to 100 poor-but-excellent pupils at district-based primary, secondary and high schools.

The district has a total of 39 schools with nearly 23,000 pupils in the 2018-2018 academic year. Among them, there are around 500 pupils with difficult circumstances. The support of businesses, organizations, individuals in general and Binh Duong Mineral and Construction Joint Stock Company in particular has contributed to helping them surmount difficulties and further reach good academic results, thereby making active contributions to the local cause of education.
