BETU awarded the second-class Labor Medal

Early Binh Duong Economics-Technology University (BETU) has held a ceremony to mark its 20^th anniversary and receive the second-class Labor Medal of the State President. Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Vo Van Minh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee; Ha Huu Phuc, Director of the Southern Education Development Center under the Ministry of Education and Training.

After 20 years of development, BETU upgraded from Phuong Thuy vocational training school has strived to train human resources at society’s demand. So far, the school has trained and supplied 23,124 bachelors at university/college levels and technicians for agencies and businesses in and out of the province. The school has been proactive to coordinate with universities and education units from countries with advanced education in the world, contributing to improving the quality of education at national demand for human resources in the integration period.

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 6 individuals making contributions to the school.
