Volunteer activities

Following the tradition of the VYF, provincial Youth Federation united and created many special movements over the past years. Its activities upheld youths’ volunteer spirit, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Especially, in the haft term of 2014-2019, provincial Youth Federations at all levels effectively carried out activities on civilized urban construction in association with a campaign of “All people consolidate to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas”. They set up 101 “civilized” alleys, tended and planted nearly 10,000 green trees, cleaned up nearly 50 kilometers of rural roads, cleared nearly 465 sewers…

Provincial Youth Federations at all levels have strengthened a movement of “Youths joining hands to build new-style rural areas” with 12 youth cooperative groups and 9 youth clubs on economic development established…They also carried out 21 “lighting rural road” works; upgraded more than 18 kilometers of rural roads…; regularly got involved in public healthcare via practical models in favor of workers living away from home.

For national defence, provincial Youth Federation concretized a campaign of “Sentimental attachment to border areas, remote islands” by “Winter volunteer youth, “Summer volunteer youth” programs... Nearly 50 youth works and activities are realized in border areas and remote islands nationwide by provincial Youth Federations at all levels every year. Moreover, provincial Youth Federation actively mobilized members to raise money for the local Fund “For sentimental attachment to border areas, remote islands” over the past time, contributing to building up the image of Binh Duong’s youths in the new period with flexibility, creativeness, ardor and pioneer in activities.
