Bringing Vietnamese brands to young people

With the aim of promoting "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign among Youth Union members and people, provincial Youth Union organized the campaign "Binh Duong Youth prioritize using Vietnamese goods” in 2017. Accordingly, provincial Youth Union concretized the campaign by practical activities among young people, especially young workers.

 

Young workers participated in Young Workers’ Day.

Provincial Youth Union directed all levels of the Youth Union to promote propaganda and communication on the campaign "Binh Duong Youth prioritize using Vietnamese goods” on all information channels of Youth Union, especially through activities of clubs, teams, groups ... In addition, union cadres also communicated information among young members, young workers and people to raise awareness of productivity, capacity of Vietnamese enterprises; quality of products, goods and services of Vietnamese enterprises. Thus, young people in particular and people in general prefer to use Vietnamese goods in personal consumption as an act of patriotism, beauty in consumer culture of the Vietnamese.

In addition, provincial Youth Union has also deployed various activities among union branches, such as seminars, conferences and competitions with the theme "Benefits of using Vietnamese goods", "Binh Duong youth with Vietnamese goods” etc.; launched a peak month for the campaign "Vietnamese youth prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign and cooperate with enterprises to organize young worker’s market day to promote products.

According to Do Van Phung, Director of provincial Center for Young worker and young labor support, in September, the center had held five young worker’s market day selling products with original prices and preferential sales discounts at industrial parks in the province. Each program had more than 50 enterprise participants and attracted thousands worker to visit, shopping, contributing to building the brand image of Vietnamese goods to consumers.

Nguyen Tan Dat, Deputy Secretary of provincial Youth Union, said that in response to the campaign "Binh Duong Youth prioritize using Vietnamese goods", provincial Youth Union directed branches in districts, town and city to organize seminars, forums; cooperate with enterprises to organize activities of promoting and introducing products and associating with discounts for young workers. Provincial Youth Union also held training conferences for Youth Union propagandists on the content, purpose and significance of the campaign.

On Oct 8, provincial Youth Union cooperated with provincial Center for Young Worker and Laborer Supporting to hold the contest "Young workers with corporate brands" in 2017 at Vinamart Supermarket (My Phuoc 1 industrial park, Ben Cat town) for young workers. The contest consisted of competitions of shopping, propaganda comedy about using Vietnamese goods; knowledge test about brands of Vietnamese enterprises ... The contest was to communicate the practical significance of using Vietnamese goods among young workers; also an opportunity for workers to raise awareness in buying and consuming prestigious products to ensure better quality of life.
