Cultural - Social Board of Provincial People's Council to verify reports, draft Resolution of the 15th session

Morning 1st July, Cultural - Social Board of Provincial People's Council held a session to verify reports and draft Resolution of the 15th session. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council, participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the delegates discussed some contents such as: reports on socio-economic, national defense-security situation over the first 6 months and missions of the last 6 months 2020 of PPC, and reports of departments, agencies; supervision results and opinions of Cultural - Social Board to submit to Provincial People's Council. In addition, delegates also contributed opinions about such issues as: To stipulate the level for spending, contributing, managing and using fund for visiting to historical, cultural monuments, museums in the province; stipulate the level for spending, using fund for archaeological surveys, excavations in the province.

Cultural - Social Board agreed with the situation assessment and results of cultural-social tasks over the first 6 months. Although the drought situation and Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on all activities and people's lives, thanks to the determination of political system, the cooperation of business community, the support of all people, the socio-cultural sectors gained many positive outcomes.

After hearing ideas of delegates about the draft, Trinh Duc Tai, Head of Cultural - Social Board, agreed with contents of the draft Resolution. Mr. Tai proposed to revise some words in some articles and clauses in the draft, and would re-examine funding for archeological surveys and excavations in accordance with regulations of the Central and the province...
