Department of Science and Technology achieves the highest PAR index in 2017

On the afternoon of August 14, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the results of the Provincial Administrative Reforming (PAR) index (Administrative reform) in 2017 and to launch the PAR index in the province. At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the PAR Index in 2017 of departments, committees of districts, towns, and people's committees of communes, wards and towns. Accordingly, at the provincial level, the Department of Science and Technology achieved the highest index, the results of 2017 approaching the excellent category (88.73%). Next is Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Binh Duong Industrial Zones Authority, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Justice. Provincial Inspectorate in the last group. At the district level, Thu Dau Mot city reached the highest level (84.58%), followed by Tan Uyen town, Bau Bang district, Thuan An town, Di An town. The last group is Bac Tan Uyen district. At the commune level, Chanh Nghia Ward (Thu Dau Mot Town) reached the highest index. Phu Loi Ward, Phu Cuong Ward, Chanh My Ward, Phu Tan Ward (Thu Dau Mot Town). In the bottom group is Binh Thang ward (Di An town). At the meeting, Mr. Truong Cong Huy, Director of Center for Public Administration, launched the new PAR Index in 2018.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung praised the efforts, the results of departments, localities reached high indexes. With the underestimated departments and localities, it is necessary to continue to implement the reform of the items and contents that have not been achieved. Mr. Mai Hung Dung said that the results of the PAR index in 2017 reflected clearly the results of steering, administration and implementation of administrative reform, including the role and determination the heads of agencies and localities in the province; In the coming time, heads of agencies and localities should continue to make greater efforts in leadership, management and implementation of this work more effectively.

On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 57 collectors achieving good results on the PAR Index in 2017.
