Excellent students' contest of junior high schools 2019-2020

Provincial Department of Education and Training announced the results of Excellent students' contest for junior high schools in the school year 2019-2020. There were 271 students who won first, second and third and consolation prizes, out of a total of 1,470 students and 10 exam subjects.

Students of key junior high schools gained most prizes in this competition. Specifically, Chu Van An Secondary School (Thu Dau Mot City) won 42 prizes, of which 4 first prizes; Tran Dai Nghia Secondary School (Thuan An City) won 43 awards, of which 21 first, second and third prizes.

This result proves the effectiveness of training activities in key secondary schools, which have the main task of creating high-quality human sources for the province. According to Department of Education and Training's instruction on 10th grade entrance exam for the 2020-2021 school year, students who won first, second and third prizes will be admitted directly to Hung Vuong Gifted High School (except for the subject of civic education), but they must meet prescribed requirements.
