Get-together marking 70th anniversary of War Invalids-Martyrs’ Day held

TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward has just organized a get-together to mark the 70^th anniversary of War Invalids and Social Affairs (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2017).

At the get-together, the ward’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee expressed deep gratitude to heroic martyrs, war invalids, heroic Vietnamese mothers and those who have rendered services to the nation.

The ward over time paid special attention to “paying debt of gratitude” activities. In 2016-2017 alone, the ward built 2 gratitude houses with a total cost of VND160million. The ward also mobilized donors, businesses and agencies to visit and present gifts to policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors…

On this occasion, the ward’s Party Committee and People’s Committee offered 353 gifts worth more than VND45million to the local families of war invalids and martyrs.
