Get-together to mark 5th anniversary of establishment of North Tan Uyen held

Early April 1, North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee grandly held a ceremony to mark the 15^th anniversary of the establishment of the district (April 1, 2014-April 1, 2019).

The event was attended by Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President; Le Huu Phuoc, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education Commission; former provincial leaders over periods; leaders of sectors, departments, localities in the province together with numerous officials, people of North Tan Uyen district.

Over the past five years, with the efforts by the whole political system and people, North Tan Uyen district reached great achievements in all fields. So far, the district’s economic structure has been developed with 47.59% in agriculture, 29.51% in industry and 22.9% in services. The district’s average GDP per capita has gained VND54million a year, up more than VND28million against that of 2014. The whole district now has all 10 communes recognized as new-style rural ones.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of provincial Party Standing Committee, Mr.Phuoc acknowledged and praised achievements done by the district during the past five years. He also asked for sectors, departments of the province to further create favorable conditions for the district to complete entrusted tasks. The district’s Party and government need to attach special importance to building up a pure and strong Party organization; improve the local economic growth model towards sustainable development, promote hi-tech agricultural models, clean industrial models; make new-style rural construction and enhance people’s spiritual and material lives…

On this occasion, 23 collectives and 39 individuals, including Party committees and cells winning the “pure” title for five consecutive years, outstanding Party members and officials were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial Party Standing Committee and the district’s People’s Committee.
