Leaders of HCM city, Binh Duong pay gift visit to residents in “Iron Triangle” revolutionary base

Early January 14, leaders of HCM city and Binh Duong province held a delegation to visit people living in the “Iron Triangle” revolutionary base in Ben Cat town’s An Tay commune. Attending the visit were Nguyen Minh Triet, former State President; Truong My Hoa, former State Vice-President; Dinh La Thang, Secretary of HCM city’s Party Committee; Tran Van Nam, Secretary of Binh Duong province’s Party Committee; officials, soldiers who took part in the then Saigon-Gia Dinh  student movements.

The delegation burn incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the “Iron Triangle” historical relic site. Also on this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to the local policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors. Mr.Triet emphasized that this visit aimed to remind young generations today of the “When drinking water, remember its source” tradition. He also hoped that they will follow the revolutionary tradition of their elders while upholding their ardour in the cause of national construction and development.
