Local children emulate to perform 5 teachings of Uncle Ho

On the occasion of the 127^th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birthday (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2017), provincial Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HYPO) has organized a range of significant activities for children. This aims to create a motivation for them to study and follow 5 teachings of Uncle Ho.

Tan Uyen town’s Council of HYPO has just honored 67 outstanding HYPO members in emulating to implement 5 teachings of Uncle Ho. With the theme of “Children in Tan Uyen do one thousand good deeds in celebration of Youth Union congresses at all levels”, the town’s Council of HYPO and its branches have carried out 25 “mang non” (young shoot) works and got involved in the “Small plan” program with more than VND100million, contributing to building “red scarf” houses for needy children. On this occasion, Tan Phuoc Khanh ward’s Council of HYPO also held a delegation to visit, present gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids and clean up the ward’s monument.

North Tan Uyen district’s Council of HYPO also kicked off a program “Journey following the footsteps of heroes” in Tan Lap commune. In addition, the district’s Council of HYPO promoted many other significant programs, namely “Small plan”, “For beloved juniors”, “Doing 5 teachings of Uncle Ho”…

In Di An town, Tan Binh ward’s Council of HYPO has also just held a talk show for primary-school pupils with the slogans of “Children in Tan Binh emulate to well implement 5 teachings of Uncle Ho”…Whilst, Binh Thang ward’s Council of HYPO organized a contest on Uncle Ho’s life and revolutionary career for pupils of Binh Thang, Binh An charity classes and HYPO detachments. Di An primary school’s HYPO detachment recognized 742 HYPO members as Uncle Ho’s obedient children and presented 140 gifts to poor-but-excellent pupils.

In celebration of Uncle Ho’s birthday, An Thanh primary school’s HYPO detachments also organized activities reporting achievements for Uncle Ho, traditional meetings with stories about poor-but-excellent pupils, deployed training programs for HYPO members and handed over the title of “Uncle Ho’s obedient child” to outstanding HYPO members.
