*Early October 16, Tan Uyen town’s Red Cross Society coordinated with the HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize its 4^th voluntary blood donation campaign of 2017.

With the message of “Blood donation saves lives, a noble deed”, physicians provided participants with consultancy on blood-related diseases. There were 150 officials, members and volunteers of the society registering to take part in the campaign with 113 units of blood, equivalent to 39,550 milliliters of blood given.

*On October 15, the Youth Federation and Women’s Union of Hung Dinh ward in Thuan An town held a festival on “Volunteering for the community’s health” in 2017.

The Young Physicians’ Club under the town’s Health Center provided the local young workers, women and elderly people with consultancy on some diseases relating to heart, blood pressure…and reproductive health while giving them 85 gifts and medicine.
