*Since early this year, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just rechecked the number of poor and near-poor households under the multi-dimensional approach to poverty for the period of 2018-2020 and implemented poverty reduction in 2018 for those who are in charge of poverty reduction; called for districts, towns and TDM city to take care of disadvantaged people.

*In Q1, 2018, Phu Giao district opened 3 vocational training classes for 70 learners in Phuoc Vinh township, Phuoc Sang and Tan Hiep communes. The district is expected to further organize many other vocational training classes for rural laborers in Q2, 2018.

*Over the past four years, Bau Bang had a total of 8 schools recognized as national standard ones, 1 meeting first-degree national standards and 6 with the quality of third-degree education. The figure has brought the total number of national standard school in the district to 17 or 60.71% of total.

So far, the district has also set up 3 State preschools and 2 private ones, lifting the total number of schools at all levels herein up 31.
