Over VND45billion spent on charity activities

Early December 11, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha held a session approving its report on activities in 2019, orientations for 2020, in attendance of Tran Duc Thinh, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Home Affairs, Head of provincial Religious Commission.

Provincial Buddhist Sangha last year continued well realizing social welfare, especially spent more than VND45billion on charity activities such as building rural bridges, charity houses; offering gifts to needy people in and out of the province…

At the session, members of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board registered to mobilize and donate more than 17,000 gifts worth nearly VND6billion to provincial program “Tet for the poor” 2020.
