People are provided with transport support as making ID card during the night

In late nights, many citizens in Thuan An City were provided with vehicle support to mobile places where ID cards were issued.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Thien, Police Chief of Social Order Administration of Thuan An City Police, said that the city had established 7 mobile teams to issue ID cards for citizens.

Every day, these teams received citizen's applications for new ID cards continuously from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm. At about 10.00 pm on April 11, an ID card issuing place in Binh Chuan ward showed signs of being overloaded, time was late but the number of people waiting was still high. Therefore, Thuan An city Police actively rented buses to carry about 30 people to another ID-card issuing place at Vinh Phu ward People's Committee so that people can quickly complete the procedure for new ID card. At about 12.00 am, the police finished the new ID card issuing procedure for all citizens.

In summary, the police in Thuan An City received more than 67,000 applications for chip-based ID cards, reaching 50% of the assigned target.

Also according to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Thien, in the coming time, Thuan An City Police would continue to open mobile issuing places of ID cards for people in all communes and wards of the city, ensuring this work is on schedule and meets target.
