Poultry meat prices tend to rise

According to Bureau of Husbandry under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, poultry meat prices tend to rise, expecting to be high from May through July 2021.

The cause was the shortage of meat supply in the face that reared poultries have declined by 50% from Q1 of 2021 from Q4 of 2020 along with high-rising feed, making farms limit their cycles. It is forecast that finished feed shall increase by 5-10% (which is equivalent to VND 500 -1,000 increment per kilo) in the coming months and would fall gradually before becoming stable from July 2021.
