Province strengthens great national unity bloc and religious solidarity

The whole province now has 267 places of worship, 569 dignitaries and 132,500 religious followers, accounting for 10% of total population.

The majority of dignitaries and religious followers herein have trusted and concurred with the Party and State’s policies on freedom of religion and belief; actively worked, fully exercised their citizens’ duties and obligations and got involved in social-charity activities.

Also, they have actively responded to many substantial campaigns launched by provincial government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations, including the “All people unitize to build up a cultured lifestyle in residential quarters” campaign, “the Day for the Poor”…among others. They have annually subscribed more than VND5bln or VND6bln to social and charity activities. Many of them have also participated in People’s Councils, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels…, upholding their individual roles in these organizations.

Religious dignitaries and followers have made great and effective contributions to the development of the province on way of the industrialization and modernization, participating in creating consensus in the society. The all-people great unity bloc and religious solidarity in the province have also got better and better.
