Provincial DoPI reviews activities in 2016, extends tasks for 2017

Provincial Department of Planning and Investment (DoPI), on January 20, held a conference to sum up its activities in 2016 and implement tasks for 2017, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Last year, provincial DoPI fulfilled the set targets. The province absorbed more than VND34billion in domestic capital and more than U$S 2billion in FDI capital, up 38% and 15% compared to 2015, respectively. At the conference, provincial DoPI focused on assessing the results of implementing 8 major tasks.

Addressing the conference, Mr.Liem suggested that along with regular tasks, provincial DoPI needs to further boost administrative reform, facilitating enterprises’ development.

On this occasion, provincial DoPI was also awarded the emulation banner 2015 of Prime Minister (photo). Phu Huu Minh, Deputy Director of provincial DoPI also received the second-class Labor Medal of State President.
