Provincial leader receives Indian Consul General in HCM city

Early November 27, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Madan Mohan Sethi.

At the reception, Mr.Thao informed the consul general of the local socio-economic development. Although facing difficulties in 2020, the province made efforts in realizing the duel tasks of Covid-19 prevention, socio-economic development and reached positive results with stable economic growth.

The province has so far absorbed 10 investment projects from India with total capital of US$116million, mainly in the fields of medical equipment, processing and manufacturing. Mr.Thao wants to further have cooperation with India in the smart city development strategy as well as calling for Indian businesses to make investment in the province, especially in the fields of information technology, science-technology…

For his part, Mr.Madan Mohad Sethi expressed his delight when knowing that Binh Duong wants to set relations with a locality in India, creating the foundation for comprehensive cooperation between the two localities. Indian businesses are very interested in the investment climate of Vietnam, including Binh Duong. In the coming time, many online conferences will be organized so that Indian businesses have more opportunities to learn about Binh Duong’s investment climate.
