Tan Dinh is an agricultural commune in the northern region of North Tan Uyen district with more than 8,500 hectares and 1,841 households. The commune has focused on new-style rural construction with many practical works, improving the spiritual and material lives of the local people.

Vu Thi Kim Phuong, Chairwoman of Tan Dinh communal People’s Committee said that Tan Dinh was recognized as a new-style rural commune in 2015. Since then, the commune has made efforts in maintaining criteria done in new-style rural construction and is carrying out the advanced ones…

The commune has also attached special importance to propaganda work to raise people’s awareness, thereby actively getting involved in donating land, contributing working days to implementing construction works; applying sci-tech advancements into production; developing homebased business, step by step enhancing incomes…

Particularly, the commune’s traffic system has been improved, opening up opportunities for the local development. The commune has upgraded its 8 hamlets ‘offices, cultural house at people’s demand for entertainment. In 2020, the average income per capita of the local people is VND65.3million…

Models with pervasion

Tan Dinh commune has always paid attention to economic development, improving the spiritual and material lives of the local people. The commune has also carried out many special polices for agricultural promotion; fostered effective models, production and linkage groups; especially promoted policies on social welfare and gained positive results…

In response to the movement of “All people joining hands in new-style rural construction”, the commune has realized models, movements with pervasion. For example, the commune’s Women’s Union well realized the model of “Making dreams come true” with scholarships worth VND28million for members ‘offspring with difficult circumstances, the fund “sharing the heart”. The commune’s Youth Union also carried out the models of “Youth flower garden following Uncle Ho’s teachings”, “Upgrading rural roads” with 3 roads of 535 meters done with a total expense of VND215million…Through the above models, there were many goods models, exemplary role-models, significantly contributing to the local development.

Possibly seeing, Tan Dinh has so far made obvious changes with rural traffic infrastructure facilities, schools, hamlets ‘offices…built spaciously and upgraded regularly, which is the premise for the local Party, government and people to further develop criteria on new-style rural construction.
