Traffic safety awareness constructed among young workers

With the aim of building transportation culture, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has strengthened propaganda activities on traffic safety for young workers in many specific programs.

Tomorrow of October 15, Provincial Youth League Standing Committee will organize "Young Workers with Transport Culture" in 2017 at the Center for Young Workers Assistance in the province. Participating in the festival shall be league members and young workers who are working in companies and enterprises. Nguyen Tan Dat, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth’s League said that the festival is held with the topic of "young workers with traffic safety culture", safe driving contest for young workers, and exchanges of art and sketches on traffic safety. In addition, the festival features a paper competition on "young workers with traffic safety" and booths for sale, discount helmets, image displays, and traffic safety propaganda.

In order to well realize the purpose of traffic safety propaganda among young workers, the youth league organization in the area has many workers who are also active in actively organizing activities in the area and industrial clusters. Tran Bao Lam, secretary of the Di An Group, said: "In order to improve the effectiveness of traffic safety among young workers, the Group has chosen the venue for the "Traffic Culture" festival at Binh Duong Industrial Park in An Binh Ward. The festival has attracted a large number of young workers to participate in activities such as propaganda on road traffic laws, legal consultancy and fashion show with the theme of traffic safety from recycled materials. In addition, the League deployed to the Youth League in cooperation with the Youth Union of workers in the hostel have organized propaganda on traffic safety, transport culture in young workers."

In Thanh An Commune in Dau Tieng District, Dau Tieng District has organized distribution of leaflets about traffic safety for young workers in Thanh An industrial cluster. On the other hand, Dau Tieng District has maintained many effective traffic safety propaganda activities among young workers, notably safety driving competitions, traffic laws and helmet giving away.

In An Phu Ward in Thuan An Town - a concentrated area of many workers and adjacent to the main inter-district roads - in peak hours, traffic volume is very crowded. From this reality, the An Phu Youth League organized the activities of "Youth with traffic culture". To participate in those activities, young workers are guided to drive safely and propagated of traffic laws and traffic safety to improve understanding of the principles of safe driving and lawful participation in traffic.

According to Nguyen Tan Dat, in the coming time, traffic safety among young workers will continue to be organized by the Youth League at all levels in order to change the perception of safety and to improve traffic safety and urban lifestyle, contributing to reducing traffic accidents.
