VSIP’s Trade Union continues improving, making creation, solidarity

The Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP)’s Trade Union, on January 15, held a conference to review its activities in 2019, line out orientations, tasks for 2020.

Accordingly, “improving, making creation, solidarity to uphold collective strength, being determined to successfully realize Trade Union tasks in 2020” is the patriotic emulation slogan of the VSIPs’Trade Union among laborers. At the conference, the VSIP’s Trade Union also set up major tasks for 2020, including coordinating with the VSIP Management Board to take part in overseeing the implementation of policies pertaining to laborers; further taking care of and protecting laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests; boosting social activities; improving operational forms and contents…

The VSIP’s Trade Union now controls over 367 trade union locals with nearly 19,000 trade unionists. In 2019, the Trade Union well realized a task of protecting laborers and trade unionists ‘legitimate rights and interests.

On this occasion, the VSIP’s Trade Union donated 52 gifts worth VND500,000 and essential commodities each to workers heavily hit by workplace accidents.
