“Youths with traffic culture” festival held

Early September 19, Phu Giao district’s Traffic Safety Committee and Youth Union jointly held the festival “Youths with traffic culture” 2018.

The festival took place with such significant activities as a propaganda parade on traffic safety with the participation of more than 100 Youth Union members; a talk show on traffic safety; a competition on the Law on Road Traffic…The local Youth Union members also had a chance to take part in games with prizes; watch a photo exhibition on traffic accidents since early this year…

At the festival, the district’s Traffic Safety Committee set up a first-aid volunteer squad and awarded 23 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to primary-school pupils with difficult circumstances.

The festival contributed to improving the awareness and action of Youth Union members, pupils and people in implementing the “cultural traffic” campaign, minimizing the local traffic accidents in all three criteria.
