100 outstanding enterprises in caring for laborers’ lives honored

Early May 5, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Management Board held a ceremony awarding the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee to 100 outstanding enterprises in taking care of laborers’ lives on the occasion of the 2016 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival. Attending the event was Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Under the instruction of provincial People’s Committee, province-based enterprises last year took good care of laborers’ lives via such practical activities as adjusting region-based minimum wage levels as stipulated; making wage and bonus payment as committed; taking laborers home on Tet safely; organizing sports-cultural activities for them…

It is hoped that with the support of functional agencies, province-based enterprises will further give incentives for laborers, helping them have a long attachment with the locality.
