122 scholarships awarded to poor-but-excellent pupils

Ben Cat town’s Labor Union, on June 2, held a ceremony to award 122 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to needy workers’ offspring with good academic results in the 2015-2016 academic year.
Prior to that, the local Labor Union also presented 23 gifts worth VND500,000 each to needy workers’ offspring with good academic results. These gifts not only encouraged the learning spirit of poor-but-excellent pupils, but also expressed the attention of the local authorities at all levels to workers, helping them keep their mind on work.
