After over 2 years of implementing Decision No.167/2008/QD-TTg on supporting accommodation for poor families, localities have supported accommodation for 316,975 poor households, equivalent to 1.5mil people, reaching 62% out of the total 512,425 households.

Accordingly, localities completed assistance for over 72,000 households at 62 poor districts and nearly 21,500 ethnic families at the Southwestern provinces, winning the rate of 90-96%. About 200,000 remaining families will be supported in 2011.
