2011 national Buddhism Propagation Seminar ended successfully

The closing ceremony of the 2011 national Buddhism Propagation Seminar took place at Thanh Le Theatre on March 13. The 5-day seminar discussed many significant topics for the nation, social welfare and environment. Many initiatives and solutions would be implemented in the coming time. On behalf of the seminar organizing board, superior Buddhist monk Thich Tan Dat, vice head and general secretary of the Central Dharma Propagation Committee extended thanks to local Party and administration leaders for their support to the event’s success.

 

The Organizing Board of the National Buddhism Propagation Seminar 2011 receives certificates of Vietnam records.

 

At the seminar, Buddhism delegates debated in groups with concrete contents. Delegates discussed contents of Buddhism with youth, Buddhism with social charity, Buddhism with ethnic people, Buddhism in integration period and Buddhism in foreign countries and so on at Thanh Le Park and temples of Hoi Khanh, Tay Tang, Phuoc An, Phat Hoc, Pho Thien Hoa, Buu Nghiem.

Superior Buddhist monk Thich Bao Nghiem, head of the Central Dharma Association, said Dharma always contains education and so receives attention not only from Buddhism believers but leaders, teachers…

On the occasion, the Vietnam Record Book Centre presented Vietnamese records to the Organizing Board for the largest Buddhism propagation seminar in Vietnam and the Buddhism propagation seminar with the largest number of participants.
