200 employees of Triumph Company take part in voluntary blood donation

On October 17, Red Cross Society of Di An City in collaboration with Directors Board, Trade Union’s Executive Committee of Triumph Company (Song Than I Industrial Park) organized voluntary blood donation day at the company.

The blood donation day drew the participation of 200 employees of Triumph Company. Blood donators were consulted by doctors on blood-borne diseases, the noble meaning of blood donation, hemoglobin tested, and did initial physical examination... There were 156 employees of the company that are eligible to give blood, as a result, 54,600ml of blood were collected.

This blood amount will be screened and added to the reserve blood bank, contributing to timely emergency and treatment of patients in need of blood.

Since the beginning of this year, Red Cross Society of Di An City has coordinated to carry out the campaign and received 2,456/2,350 blood units, exceeding the assigned target for the year.
