4th provincial “Veterans helping each other in poverty reduction, economic development” movement under review

Early May 13, provincial Veterans’ Society organized a conference to review the five-year implementation of the 4^th provincial “Veterans helping each other in poverty reduction, economic development”  movement from 2011 to 2016, in attendance of Nguyen Thanh Liem, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Public Relations

After five years of implementing the emulation movement, the society made strong development steps. The society, as of March 2016, had no more households. By many different forms, the society mobilized more than VND73.77billion, generating 10,362 jobs for members, building and upgrading 205 “great unity”, “comrade” houses worth more than VND5.79million…

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee and Veterans’ Society also awarded the certificates of merit to 77 outstanding individuals in the emulation movement between 2011 and 2016.
